Using a chillum is one of the oldest methods of smoking in India. This Smooth Wooden Chillum is a beautiful addition to your home and to your smoking ritual.
Hold your chillum upright and make an airtight fist around the base. Inhale through your hand - do not put the chillum directly to your lips. A damp silk cloth held around the base acts as an excellent extra filter and will stop it from getting too hot.
As our chillums are all handmade there are natural variations in colour, and designs may vary slightly from those pictured.
Most Chillums require the use of a filter stone, however these chillums have had their bowls carved in a way that requires a filter screen instead. These can be bought here.
